Норвежские блэк-металлисты SATYRICON выпустят новый альбом, "The Age Of Nero", 3 ноября на лейбле Roadrunner Records. Диск записывался в студии Sound City в Van Nuys’е (штат Калифорния), где METALLICA недавно записывала свой LP.

Когда корреспонденты норвежской газеты спросили вокалиста группы Sigurd’а "Satyr" Wongraven’а о привлечении продюсера Joe Barresi (TOOL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE) для работы над новым альбомом SATYRICON, он ответил следующее: "Joe был техником на протяжении практически всего проекта. Мне кажется, в прессе возникло какое-то недопонимание относительно его роли — это я продюсер, а роль Joe заключается в том, чтобы знать, какую кнопку нажать, чтобы мы добились нужного нам звука."
